2nd outing in the training boat. Only a couple of minor teething trouble today so managed a good 2.5 hours of rowing out in the surf. Rowing in to the SSW head wind and the ebbing (that’s it’s correct term. I referred to it a something close to that) tide had me making no distance over the ground at times. But at least I wasn’t going backwards. Felt strong on the oars until I took a breather and got turned side on to the waves again. Flipped out of the boat (unless my mum asks. Then I didn’t, she’ll only worry). But no panic. Flipped the training boat back over and jumped back on board. Even managed not to lose my sunnies (sorry Mr Seal. No freebies this week).
