rowing for 2 great causes
Throughout the challenge Craig will be rowing for two great causes. Raising awareness for both charities Sporting Chance and motor neurone disease association.
Founded by Tony Adams MBE, former Arsenal & England Captain, Sporting Chance has, for the last 20 years, created a safe place supporting individuals and organisations across sports to address mental health, emotional welfare and addictive disorders. https://www.sportingchanceclinic.com/
It is now the largest provider in the world of education and treatment for sports professionals and is the only residential programme exclusively working with professional athletes. Tony has cited this in his autobiography as one of his greatest achievements.
The MND Association was founded in 1979 by a group of volunteers with experience of living with or caring for someone with MND. They are the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland focused on MND care, research and campaigning. They campaign and raise awareness so the needs of people with MND and those who care for them are recognised and addressed by wider society.
The charity improves care and support for people with MND, their families and carers, funding and promoting research that leads to new understanding and treatments, and brings us closer to a cure for MND.
